Pathahewheta Divisional Secretariat organized some special programs on the children's day 2021 according to a concept of our divisional secretary. Those programs included tree plantations, recycling and entertainment programs for the children.
The pilot program “Selling for Recycling” encouraged the people to sell their left over (Coconut shells) for recycling. The inaugural program was held in the Grama Niladhari divisions of Godalawela and Welegama.
In Pathamailapitiya Grama Niladhari division a Jack tree plantation programs was conducted with the concept of “No hunger - A righteous country with bounty” and established the Child Environmental Protection Force .
Children’s drama songs entertainment program was conducted on 2021.10.03 through Zoom Technology for the entertainment of the children; which was organized with the collaboration of Child Rights Promotion division and cultural activities division of the Pathahewaheta Divisional Secretariat.
